Annual Re-Inspection

The Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office will begin it’s annual reinspection of real estate properties starting June 13th, this process will continue the throughout the summer and into the fall. Keeping in mind the safety of the public and appraisal staff, we will make every effort to review properties with  as little personal contact as possible.

The Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office is mandated by K.S.A. 79-1476 to      re-inspect all real property in Pawnee County every six years. The purpose     of this inspection is to verify that our data is current and represents the property accurately. The Appraiser’s Office physically inspects approximately 17% of the real property located in Pawnee County each year.

This year we will be working in the following areas: Grant Township, Larned Township, Morton Township, the City of Rozel and the City of Larned east of Toles Avenue.

Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office personnel can be identified by Pawnee County photo identification badges and will be driving a vehicle marked with the Pawnee County logo.

Other routine work will continue throughout Pawnee County, such as review     of recent sale properties, permits and parcels with new or demolished buildings.

Neighborhood Revitalization

Mapping - The Mapping Department is responsible for maintaining the ownership parcel map used by the County Appraiser for valuing property. The Mapping Department can print specific use maps or specific area maps from the County's GIS System. Maps can also include aerial photography. Please call for pricing.
