Notice of 2021 City/School General Election for Pawnee County, Kansas

 I, Stacey Rein, Pawnee County Clerk and Election Officer, do hereby certify that in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, the following persons, for their respective office, as indicated below, are entitled to a place on the official ballot to be voted at the City/School General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021.

Notice of General Election

Pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 25-2018(b), notice is hereby given, the following is a list of Unified School District positions and City positions to be voted on in the General Election on November 2, 2021. If the need to have a Primary Election occurs, it will be August 3, 2021. The filing fee was $20.00 and the filing deadline was NOON June 1, 2021, at the County Clerk’s Office.

Unified School District No 495 - Position No 1-4, Position No 2-5, and Position No 3-6

Unified School District No 496 - Position No 3, Position No 5, and Position No 6

Unified School District No 351 - District 1-4 Position 4, District 1-5 Position 5, and District 2-6 Position 6

City of Larned - Mayor, Ward 1 Council Member, Ward 2 Council Member, Ward 3 Council Member, and Ward 4 Council Member

City of Burdett – 3 Council Member positions

City of Garfield – Mayor and 5 Council Member positions

City of Rozel – 3 Council Member positions

NOTICE OF POST-ELECTION AUDIT
Kansas election law requires a post-election audit be conducted after an election and prior to the meeting of the County Board of Canvassers. The county election officer is required to conduct a manual audit or tally of each vote cast in 1% of all precincts, with a minimum of one precinct. For Pawnee County, we will audit no less than two races and two precincts for every primary and general election.

**Audit time will be at 2:00pm, November 3rd, 2021 located at the Pawnee County Courthouse in the Commissioner’s Office.
