Pursuant to K.S.A. 25-4411, notice is hereby given that a public test of automatic tabulating equipment shall be held at 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, November 4^th, 2022, at the Pawnee County Courthouse, Commissioners Room, 2^nd Floor, 715 Broadway, Larned, Kansas.

The equipment to be tested is intended to be used for the tabulation of votes cast in the 2022 General Election to be held on November 8, 2022.

The post-election public test of automatic tabulating equipment shall be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22^nd, 2022, in the Pawnee County Commissioners Office, 2^nd Floor, 715 Broadway, Larned, Kansas.

NOTICE

Notice is hereby published in accordance with K.S.A. 25-3104. The Pawnee County Board of Canvassers will convene at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21^st, 2022, to conduct the canvass of the November 8, 2022, General Election. Said canvas will be held at the Pawnee County Courthouse, Commissioners Office, 715 Broadway, Larned, Kansas.

NOTICE OF POST-ELECTION AUDIT

Kansas election law requires a post-election audit be conducted after an election and prior to the meeting of the County Board of Canvassers. The county election officer is required to conduct a manual audit or tally of each vote cast in 1% of all precincts, with a minimum of one precinct. The precinct(s) shall be randomly selected, and the selection shall take place after the election. For Pawnee County, we will audit no less than two races and two precincts for every primary and general election. 

As required by K.S.A. 25-3009, a Post-Election Audit for Pawnee County will be held Tuesday, November 15^th, 2022, at 1:00 pm in the Pawnee County Commissioners Office, 2^nd Floor, 715 Broadway, Larned, KS 67550. The selection of the precincts for the audit will be held Thursday, November 10^th, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Pawnee County Clerk’s Office, 2^nd Floor, 715 Broadway, Larned, KS  67550
